Sometimes, I forget how well educated my husband is. He decided to leave his field of study after five years of trying to make a go of it and now earns almost twice what he did then. He studied Turf Grass Management and worked at a variety of golf courses. Eventually, he made his way to Nestle where he now loads trucks.
At the Children's Learning zoo, Tim was explaining lady bugs to the kids as the zookeeper was showing them off and letting kids take them and fly away with them. Lady bugs! I know nothing of them, but he did because he took a class on bugs in college. Score one for Mr. Fisher. I think sometimes when you are married to a quiet guy, the quiet nature gets in the way of noticing the specialness that's beneath. That's why I married him:)
Anyway, Johnny loved the geese. We ended up spending twenty minutes staring at them. Of course, he chucked his sippy cup over the gate and I had to climb in and get it. Well, better geese than bears!
He also liked to try to slip away from us when he was let out of his stroller. I'm quicker than I appear, but he's tinier and can get past people easier. We had a close call when he decided to take a stroll after looking at some baby chicks. He's something else.
I loved watching the bears. We got one who took a dip. Loved this!
All in all it was a great day to be together as a family!
